Doha: sunu mata sakhamriga nahi bala buddhi bisala,
prabhu pratapa te garurahi khai parama laghu byala.16.
Meaning: Listen, mother: monkeys possess no great strength or intelligence either; but, through the Lord’s might, the most tiny snake might swallow Garuda (the king of birds and the mount of Bhagavan Vishnu).(16)
In my knowledge, Hanuman showed His VirAT Roop which could mean 2 things- 1. A huge form Spanning the region between Earth and the Sky.
In this sense Hanuman showed His VirAT Roop to Sitaji to give Her the confidence that He could simply carry Her across the sea and place Her in Rama's company. Sitaji then smiles and blesses Him but refuses the offer politely, saying She does not doubt His ability but, She as an avowed “pativratA” cannot allow the touch of a person other than Her husband. Hsnuman - the Paragon of Excellent, Proper and pertinent behavior bows low before Her and resumes His humble form.
Then there is the concept of Panchamukhi Hanuman which is a kind of VirAT Roop of His in Tantric Worship.
The kind of VirAT Roop a picturization of the PuruShasUktam was shown only to Arjuna to shake off his moral logjam.
The VirAT Roop shown at the Kaurava SabhA when Lord KRShNa went to negotiate peace was similar to Hanuman's to Sitaji.
KRShNa ultimately blessed KarNa with a vision of VitAT Roop so that he many not bear any animosity to anyone, and by implication we must consider Karna as having been given Mukti.
